Dr.Donn Hickman obtained Board Certification in two specialities: General Surgery (1983) and Plastic Surgery (1985). His Practice is now devoted to Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. He was among several regional professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area selected as Top Doctors in Plastic Surgery (1999) by The Washington DC Center for the Study of Services in the United States, an honor bestowed by colleagues who pick physicians they would have treat them own families. He received several honors for his work in the Long Beach Children’s Clinic as the only Plastic Surgeon to volunteer his services in that clinic’s history (1985-1991). His office surgery center carries the prestigious accreditation by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF). He has served as a qualified facility inspector (1996-2011).
